Birthdays should be a time of celebration not stress, yet all too often people find the pressure of having to try and make the occasion memorable all too much. Milestone birthdays become even more tricky, with friends and family determined to make it a truly special celebration. But you shouldn’t stress yourself out trying to conjure up the coolest kid’s party, planning the perfect 18th birthday celebration, struggling to come up with 50th birthday ideas or putting pressure on yourself to make your loved one’s 30th as impressive as possible. The fact that you’ve gone to the trouble of organising anything will often be a treat enough for most people but if you can’t relax and enjoy yourself as well then that could bring down the mood for the whole occasion. So take a deep breath, relax and follow our simple guide for stress-free birthday celebrations.
1. Keep it simple.
Planning a party or trying to make a night-out with friends extra special? Don’t worry too much about the finer details, the important thing for the birthday boy or girl will be gathering all their friends and family in one place. The older we get, the greater value we place on family values, so if you’re looking for 50th birthday ideas then you can’t beat gathering relatives and pals at your home and laying on some simple, home-cooked food such as a bowl of chilli or a couple of platefuls of sandwiches. Add a few balloons and streamers and you have the perfect party venue without the expense or hassle of hiring somewhere out.
2. Stick to a budget.
Just because you want to make an occasion special doesn’t mean you have to throw money at it, especially if it’s money you can’t afford. Grand birthday ideas are all well and good, but if you’ll spend the whole occasion worrying about how you’re going to settle the credit card bill then it’s not going to be enjoyable at all.
3. Remember why you’re there.
Birthdays aren’t about grand gestures, they’re about showing someone that you care. Making someone feel special on the birthday is enough without trying to impress people with your organisational skills or imagination.
4. Take advantage of Facebook.
If you’re planning parties for a certain age group then you don’t need to worry about paper invitations, gathering addresses or digging out contact numbers. Social networking makes organising an event online a doddle and Facebook is great for finding out who you should be inviting and you can even use it to contact guests in secret. Of course, this might not apply for everyone, if you’re looking for 75th birthday ideas then the chances are that Facebook might not be the best way, but it can still help for contacting grandchildren, cousins and long-lost family friends.
5. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
Organising a child’s birthday party may sound great in principle but think about the potential stress of suddenly having a dozen seven-year-olds running around your kitchen when it’s raining outside. Don’t feel you have to do it all yourself and don’t be shy about asking other parents, friends or relatives to help out with ideas or some of the organisational tasks. It makes it more fun to work on something as a team and doesn’t leave you worrying about every little detail. Of course if the budget allows then consider bringing in professionals. There are experts that specialise in party planning or even just hiring help to take care of one aspect such as the catering can help ease your burden.

Generally, a person can’t have enough information when it comes to being well-informed on a variety of topics, especially those that include a special and rather expensive purchase. Jewelry education is important, whether you are purchasing an engagement ring for your fiancée or a fashion necklace for yourself. The more you know about the various metals jewelry is made of, the better equipped you will be when making any jewelry purchase, regardless of the price.
A piece of jewelry is made of a metal or an alloy of metals. An alloy is a mixture or solution of two or more metals. Alloys are used to make jewelry pieces more durable and to give the pieces their distinctive appearance, such as a unique color.
Gold is the most popular choice for jewelry. It doesn’t tarnish easily, and it can be used in most types of jewelry. Gold purity is measured in karats, and the higher the number, the more gold the piece of jewelry contains. Twenty-four karat gold is pure, but you won’t find many pieces made with that high of gold content because it is too soft. Eighteen karat gold generally tops out the gold content of jewelry and is quite expensive. You can also purchase jewelry made with ten or fourteen karat gold, which is less costly because they have been alloyed with other non-precious metals.
Silver is another often-used metal in jewelry. It’s the most abundant of all precious metals. It can be as soft as gold when pure; for this reason it is often alloyed with copper to give it added strength. Silver can oxidize giving it a tarnished appearance, but it can be cleaned. Sterling silver, on the other hand, has a much higher level of purity than ordinary silver and is known for its highly reflective qualities.
You may be surprised to learn that platinum, which is also used in jewelry, is more expensive than gold. Platinum is heavier and used in almost pure form. Platinum is very white in appearance, so it doesn’t normally need to be plated with any other metal. Platinum is also hypoallergenic, doesn’t fade or tarnish, and is durable and versatile. All of these characteristics make platinum an excellent choice for many types of jewelry, especially rings.
Stainless steel is being used more each day in making jewelry. Two of its properties are hardness and durability, making it a great choice for men’s dress jewelry.
You have probably heard of titanium, as well. It is the hardest natural metal in the world, 100 percent hypoallergenic and lightweight.
Palladium is a soft, silver-white metal that is 10 percent stronger than platinum. It is hypoallergenic, never yellows and costs much less than gold or platinum. It can be a terrific choice for a beautiful piece of jewelry that is long-lasting, with a more affordable price tag.
Rhodium is a member of the platinum family and shares many of the properties of platinum, including its white color. Rhodium is often electroplated over a silver piece, due to rhodium’s bright appearance and hypoallergenic qualities. Electroplating is the process by which a surface is covered by a thin layer of another metal. Electroplating is used for adding to a piece’s look, its strength or both.
Now that you know more about the metals used in jewelry, you may wonder why some have a negative effect on certain people. For instance, your finger may have turned green underneath a ring at one time or another. One school of thought is that some people have an allergy to certain metals. Another theory is that some metals have a chemical reaction when they come in contact with skin.
As discussed earlier, alloys are frequently used in creating jewelry. Nickel and copper are two common metals often used in alloys, and these metals have been found to create an allergic reaction in as much as 15 percent of the population. Nickel is alloyed with gold quite regularly, so it is usually what a person’s skin reacts to, not the gold. Eighteen karat gold has a smaller percentage of alloys in it, so it’s less likely to cause an allergic reaction than a ten karat gold jewelry piece.
If you have jewelry that you love, but it causes your skin to discolor or develop a rash, there are some things you can do to avoid those situations:
As a savvy consumer, you will want to know as much as you can about what you are considering purchasing before you ever spend a dime. This is especially true of jewelry, as it’s not only a rather expensive purchase, but it’s an item that should be special and enjoyed throughout an entire lifetime. With an increased knowledge about jewelry metals, you can now be a more confident and satisfied jewelry buyer.

Fall is a fantastic time to plan a honeymoon, as many destinations enter their shoulder season with fewer crowds, lower prices, and better weather. Below are a few of our favorites.
San Francisco and Napa Valley
Fall is the perfect time for a visit to San Francisco and Napa Valley. Enjoy a little urban fun in San Francisco, where the days are warm and the nights are crisp and cool with very little rain. Then, hop over to Napa Valley, where it's harvest time. Wander from one winery to another, sampling a variety of wines, and join in the fun of harvest by stomping grapes or picking them yourself.
Ah yes, the City of Love. While it may seem like an obvious destination, maybe even cliché, it's cliché for good reason. The city comes alive in the fall, with vibrant colors, fewer crowds, and comfortable weather. Museums have shorter lines, and Parisians are in town, unlike in the summer, so most businesses are actually open. It's the perfect time of year for a stroll along the Seine.
Perfect for the adventurous couple, New Zealand is a delight during the fall. Since it's south of the Equator, it's technically spring in New Zealand, but it's a great time to explore the country. New Zealand is known for its adventure activities, and is the perfect place for whitewater rafting, bungee jumping, skydiving, and jet boating. The country is also known for its splendid outdoor activities, and for the active couple, there are plenty of opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and more. Kiwis take their food and wine seriously, with many restaurants throughout the country focusing on locally sourced food and wine.
ABC Islands - Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao
Since hurricane season lasts through November, a fall honeymoon in most of the Caribbean is a dicey prospect. Sure, chances are nothing will happen, and your honeymoon will go off without a hitch, but the last thing most people want to worry about is a natural disaster. Fortunately, there are beautiful islands with secluded beaches that are outside of the hurricane belt. Named the ABC Islands for the first letter in Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao, these are three islands where you can book a honeymoon during the fall and not have to worry about a hurricane or tropical storm wrecking your once-in-a-lifetime trip. The best deals are usually found on Aruba, as it's the most visited of the three islands, but Bonaire has some of the world's best diving and Curacao is ideal for those who are looking for seclusion.
Five Ways to Find Sale Wedding Gowns
1. Go for the sample sale gowns: Most wedding boutiques or shops have sample wedding dresses that they use for the brides to try on. Some may be discontinued. These are the gowns you want to pounce on! Don’t be afraid or embarrassed to ask a manager or sales consultant if they have discontinued dresses they want taken off their hands. No need to wait for the actual sample sale! Be aggressive and you just may get lucky. However, look these dresses over carefully, as they may be damaged. If you do find one that you love, but it has a flaw that can be corrected, ask for an even bigger discount!
2. Shop on-line. Simply type in “wedding dress sales” in your search bar, and you are bound to get loads of links to Internet sites that specialize is sale wedding gowns. Searching online for a dress is a great option because lots of top designers sell their overstock items to these online bridal boutiques. These gowns may be overstock or pre-owned items. Ebay and Etsy are also great options. If you decide to go this route, be sure and check the shipping rates, times, and most importantly, the return policy.
3. Check out your local Bridal Outlet: Most cities will have a bridal outlet… and don’t let the term “outlet” turn you off. Most are just like any bridal boutique, complete with consultants, and best of all, tons of dresses to from which choose. Again, these may be overstock or discounted items, and some may even be third-party sales. However, with that said, on average, shopping at a bridal outlet will save you 40% to 70% off retail prices, and most carry designer dresses as well.
4. Ask Family or Friends: Word of mouth is the oldest trick in the book when it comes to finding deals on just about anything, and that includes wedding dresses. Ask friends or family that have been married where they found their dress, and whether during their shopping process they found a particular shop or boutique that had a nice selection of sale wedding gowns. You are certain to get loads of information and great leads that you may have otherwise overlooked.
5. Join a social media wedding site: As with the friends and family, brides are a great resource to find those hidden gem sale gowns. So don’t be shy, find a forum you like (recommended: powerbrides.com) and start chatting. Brides who are planning their weddings are ready and willing to share any information they can. Try and find brides in your area and compare notes. You will get lots of great feedback and possibly find that perfect sale gown in the process!

How Fashion has Changed Over the Decades
Prior to the 1960s, Paris was the undisputed center of the fashion world. However, the cultural revolution of the mid-1960s forever changed the way fashion was perceived by the public, and by the industry itself.
The 1960s were about individuality, self-expression, and thinking outside of tradition and convention. In the fashion world, that meant there would never again be a single, prevailing trend. Instead there would be multiple trends coexisting; some complementary, some not. The 1960s also spurred a sea change in the commercial, creative, and political power of youth, which had a profound impact on fashion. The iconic psychedelic color schemes and Bohemian clothing of the 1960s established an independent youth fashion that was uniquely its own; this was vastly different than previous generations, who followed fashions that were a watered down version of what was popular with their elders. Just like sex, drugs, and rock ‘n roll, fashion became an integral expression of youth and personal freedom.
London was often at the forefront of these changes, led by Mary Quant, who made mini-skirts popular. Paris, while still more true to haute couture, also had its share of revolutionary designers including Pierre Cardin and Yves Saint Laurent. But some traditionalists, like Coco Chanel, resisted the revolution and held firm to more classic, conservative designs. To this day, Chanel is perceived as a fashion house for more mature women.
Instead of going to couture houses, 1960s youths gravitated toward small boutiques established by new designers, a trend that has lived on through the new millennium. In addition to offering new designs, these new designers enthusiastically embraced the new synthetic fabrics, primarily because they absorbed dyes exceptionally well and produced the bright, vivid colors that were so highly sought after.
The result of this fashion revolution? Designer dresses of the 1960s exploded onto the scene with a variety of styles, shapes, and colors, made to fit a gamut of individual tastes. Choice, variety and niche looks may be the norm today, but fifty years ago, this sort of panoramic fashion was nothing short of revolutionary.
Ever since many of the iconic women of the 1960 era began wearing designer clothes, we’ve seen a trend that has many of the clothing making a return to the runway. It seems that just about every seven to ten years, fashion from a previous decade has managed to make its way right back into our closets. If we were smart, we would never throw anything away!

It is only natural to experience a few nerves on your wedding day. You just don't want to let them spoil the day for you. These are five great tips for managing a case of the wedding day jitters.
Tip One: Deep Breathing. Have you ever been really tense and noticed that you were holding your breath? Sometimes all it takes to feel more relaxed is to take five or ten slow deep breaths. Close your eyes and really try to focus on your breath. By the time you open your eyes, you will be feeling more calm and under control. The great thing about this technique is that you can take deep breaths whenever and wherever you need them, whether it is while you are putting on your bridal gown and wedding jewelry in the morning, or right before you start to march down the aisle.
Tip Two: Share a Laugh. Yes, your wedding is a big deal, but it is also supposed to be a joyful time. Try to see the lighter side of the occasion, and don't get too caught up in making everything perfect. Whether you are laughing with your bridesmaids over who looks the silliest halfway through getting your hair done or giggling with your groom when your dad shows off his moves on the dance floor, it will help you to stay loose and relaxed. Laughter is also the best cure for dealing with the inevitable wedding mishaps, such as messing up your vows or spilling red wine on your white gown.
Tip Three: Positive Visualization. Worried about walking down the aisle without tripping? Picture yourself gliding down the aisle gracefully in your beautiful gown and pearl wedding jewelry. Super nervous about having all eyes upon you during the marriage ceremony? Visualize yourself relaxing on your honeymoon with your husband. I actually tried that one at my wedding, and it really worked!
Tip Four: Limit Caffeine and Alcohol Consumption. You may have to get up at the crack of dawn on your wedding day to get ready, but don't use that as an excuse to drink a Venti coffee from Starbucks! You will end up feeling awake, but more jittery. Get a good night's sleep before your wedding instead. Brides often think that they can handle a case of nerves by having a few glasses of champagne before the ceremony or doing shots at the reception. While a few sips of alcohol might smooth your nerves, if you have too much, you will end up embarrassing yourself by tripping down the aisle or making an inappropriate toast at the reception! Better to be a little nervous than end up as a laughing stock on You Tube!
Tip Five: Get Away From the Crowd. Some people just get nervous in large groups, especially if they feel like everyone is looking at them (a bride is the center of attention at a wedding, after all, whether she likes it or not). When you feel overwhelmed by a crowd of people, slip away to a quiet place. Before your ceremony, you can ask everyone to step out of the room where you are waiting, and spend a few moments imagining how wonderful it will be to marry the man you love. When you feel recharged, let them all come back. During the reception, grab your groom and slip off for a quiet moment alone. It is a great way to handle your nerves, and it is always nice for the newlyweds to spend a minute by themselves to soak everything in.
Some people really hate spending time thinking about financial issues. They see such problems as being incredibly dull and boring. That’s a shame, as getting your finances in order can be surprisingly good fun!
I appreciate that you may not fully agree with my last statement. In fact, you may be wondering whether I’m a little bit mad. Who could possibly enjoy dealing with the family finances?
Even I would have to admit that there’s not much enjoyment associated with family budgeting, at first glance. It often involves spending hours trawling through bank statements, bills and credit card receipts. Then there’s the time that you spend entering information into a spreadsheet and realising that you’ve been a little bit silly recently.
It’s fair to say that none of that sounds like fun. But there is enjoyment to be found.
When you’re looking to save money, you need to think about your reasoning. You need to have a purpose. I like to set myself goals, for example. So I might consider the fact that saving a certain amount of money over the next year could pay for a great holiday, or even a new car.
Indeed, every penny that’s saved on boring purchases can actually be used to fund more exciting purchases. Once you enter this mindset, you soon find yourself becoming a bargain-hunter. You just can’t help it!
You find that you’re constantly looking around to get the very best deals. Sometimes, you may only save a small amount. On other occasions, the advantages associated with shopping around will be more substantial. It almost goes without saying that the Internet is like a dream for those searching for bargains.
Shopping has never seemed so transparent. We can now quickly compare prices to make sure that we really are getting a great deal. We have the ability to look at the prices offered by numerous stores and service providers too. In short, it’s made the whole process of shopping that bit easier.
But you can only save money if you actually take advantage of all the tools that are available to you. For starters, that simply has to mean carrying out some sort of price comparisons. You don’t have to spend hours on this, but if you don’t compare prices then it’s impossible to know whether you could get a better deal.
Consumer reviews are also worth consulting. You may find out that an alternative, cheaper product could be used to do the same job. You’ll also get detailed information on any problems that are associated with a product that you’re looking to buy. This isn’t just about buying things cheaper, it’s also about helping you to avoid making costly mistakes.
Once you have decided to make a purchase, see if there’s a coupon or discount voucher that could be used to help you save even more money.
Throughout the process, remember that any money that you save can be spent on luxuries and having some fun in the future. By thinking about things in this way, you can ensure that it really is enjoyable to be saving money.
Keith Barrett has recently saved money with Bathroom Heaven discounts online. He’s always keen to save when shopping online.
If you are a woman with a lot of curves, you probably already know that they can be both a blessing and a curse. When it comes to wedding gown shopping, finding a gown which makes the most of your curvy figure is key. These are some great tips on how to dress a curvy bride.
First of all, think about which of your curves you wish to accentuate and which ones you wish to downplay. These can vary from one woman to the next. Some brides who have fuller busts love the idea of a wedding gown that shows off their impressive cleavage (tastefully, of course!), while others might want to streamline the bust area a bit. Sometimes brides with round backsides want a gown that will hug their curves, while others will be more comfortable minimizing their tushes with a forgiving A-line skirt. It is all a matter of what will make you feel the most comfortable in your own skin.
Many brides with curvy figures have a great hourglass shape. Show off your small waist with a gown that really nips in around the middle. The best choices will be bridal gowns which have very structured bodices. Strapless gowns normally have a lot of boning, as do quite a few dresses with straps. This will allow the dress to be fitted to show off your waistline, while smoothing everything out. Avoid loose fitting or "beachy" dresses, that tend to hang and will not nip in at the waist. You can further emphasize a great hourglass figure with a sash or jeweled belt around your waist. Another option is to add sparkle to a plainer dress by pinning a piece of bridal jewelry – such as a sparkly brooch – to the waist of your dress.
Mermaid or trumpet styles have been quite popular in the last few years, and they can be a great choice for the bride who loves all of her curves. They tend to be very fitted over the tush and hips, then flare out at the bottom. That signature fullness on the bottom of the skirt is what makes a mermaid a better option than a slinky sheath for a lot of curvy brides. It adds a nice balance to the fullness of the hips. It is no coincidence that mermaid evening gowns were popular during the 1950s, when an hourglass figure was in vogue. Keep in mind that those ladies did wear slimming garments to smooth out their tummies and thighs under the fitted top of the gown (and be glad that you can wear comfortable Spanx instead of a girdle!).
For curvier brides who wish to downplay their assets, think straight lines. A v-neck on the bodice of a gown will instantly give a full bust a sleeker appearance. Repeat the shape of the neckline with a drop pendant as part of your bridal jewelry set. If you are ordering a made-to-order bridal gown, you will also have the option of raising the neckline of your gown to ensure that it does not show off more cleavage than you would like. A full A-line skirt will have the same slimming effect over the hips and backside. Sometimes a full skirt is also a good option, but be wary of box pleats. Box pleats often do not lay flat over curvier hips, which will only emphasize what you were trying to conceal.
One final tip for curvy brides is to bring along a good friend when shopping for your wedding dress. You want someone who will be honest, but who will also listen to your opinions. When you find the right wedding gown to flatter your figure, you will feel beautiful and confident on your wedding day.

Easy Exercise for Travelers
If you want to reduce the stress in your life, one of the things that you can do is to take a vacation. The problem though with taking a vacation is that it can derail a healthy fitness regimen if you are following one. Even the most devout of health buffs find it hard to continue their workout plan when they are traveling. For one, not all hotels have gyms. And even if the hotel they are staying in have a gym, some people simply find it hard to find the time to exercise when they are in a different place and time zone. What happens usually is that people pack their exercise clothes in them but they are often left unused.
So what should a health buff do when traveling? How does one enjoy traveling without causing a major interruption in their workout routine? Read this article in its entirety if you want to know the answers to these questions.
The first thing that you need to do is to get real. If ever you will be able to find a place and time for exercise, do not expect that you can follow your workout schedule to the letter. You must be flexible with your exercise routine when you are traveling. The ideal goal is to aim to follow at least 50% of your routine. What you can do is to find replacements for some of the exercise that you won't be able to perform. If you like to go boxing for example, then maybe you can just go jogging outside the hotel or maybe you can just go up and down the stairs.
Make Full Use of Hotel Facilities
You should maximize whatever facilities your hotel can offer. If it doesn't have a gym, then maybe it has other facilities that you can use for your workout. For example, maybe it has a pool that you can use for your cardio. If it doesn't even have a pool, then maybe it has a nice open space where you can at least do some body weight exercise. Apart from flexibility, creativity is one thing that you should have when you want to incorporate exercise and traveling. You are only limited by your imagination. You can even do a full body workout in your hotel room if you want.
Get a Rebounder
If you really want to take your workout with you on the road then you should get a rebounder. Make sure that it is the foldable and portable type that you can easily carry. Needak rebounders has a nice line of foldable mini trampolines. Rebounding is already a full body workout so a mini trampoline is really all you need to workout while traveling. And all you need is a few minutes everyday to get the full benefits of rebounding. This means that a rebounding workout will not interfere with your travel plans. You can also share your mini trampoline with your spouse or with your kids.

Many people volunteer in their communities or somewhere abroad. This is gaining in popularity since it lets you see the newness and strangeness of a different culture while helping people or non-profit organizations to do better in life. It kills two birds with one stone, a true win-win situation. If you're looking to volunteer abroad but don't have the money lying around on the sofa, the good news is that some organizations will help you with travel grants.
Travel grants are a useful way to fund your volunteer adventure. Here are a few organizations that will get you some green so that you can go do some good.
The major travel agency Travelocity offers something called a Change Ambassadors Grant. This grant, which is available only to those who are 18 or older, collaborates with several organizations and offers you up to 5,000 dollars to fund your teen service travel. They work with groups like Earth Watch to fulfill their goals. A stipulation is that you have to write up a report when you're done about what you did, how it went, why you did it, and any other important facts and observations that struck you as important.
For Skilled Professionals
All around the world, there are thousands of different groups trying to help people, change society for the better, improve the health of our environment, and many other noble and virtuous tasks. However, all of these organizations need skilled professional help to effectively and efficiently get whatever they do done and done well.
For instance, if a volunteer organization specializes in setting up wells in villages in certain parts of Africa, then they will need people who are skilled at setting up and maintaining wells. Since this is a very specific skill set, if you have technical knowledge or practical experience installing wells, then you would be of far more use to this organization than an unskilled volunteer.
This is just one example, but doctors, lawyers, teachers, managers of all specialties, and many other occupations and areas of expertise are needed by these non-profit organizations. If you are skilled in something useful to these groups, then you should look into a professional volunteer grant to make it fiscally possible for you to volunteer abroad.
A major source of funding is the United Nations Development Program, which pays the medical expenses for vaccinations and other things, cost of travel, and the lodging bills for skilled professionals. This can make the difference between not going abroad at all and a wonderful and fulfilling experience. Depending on what you can do and the openings available, this experience can be between two weeks and six months--and even more if you like what you're doing and are great at it.
Besides the United Nations, you can check with non-profit organizations and the US government to see if they have similar programs. For instance, the Peace Corps has many openings for skilled workers in addition to their very visible unskilled worker programs. They even offer a monetary stipend to pay you for the hard and essential work that you did.
AdventuresCrossCountry.Com helps teenagers locate community service, language, leadership, and blue water adventures.
Everyone likes to be offered a great deal once in a while; when such offers comes to us from our service providers and vendors it is always held in great esteem as a special treatment. In the same way hosting coupons are offers provided by hosting services companies for their clients. There are some of the best plans and package offers wrapped in these as a mark of their appreciation for your patronage. This is also a great means of business promotion for them and secures good publicity among companies and clients. Attractive offers of discounts and special rates are available for companies to avail. Different plans and packages highlighted by their unique services are provided and at discounted rates. The only condition in these is a date of expiry within which the subscription or the offer will be valid.
Web hosting coupons are a great incentive for individuals and newly established companies who are running their operations within restricted budgets. For them these offers and specially created discounts which is valid for a span of time is of great consequence; these can add up to make a huge difference on the overhead savings of an organization especially new ones. Offers in these packages range from launching unlimited websites through the company to even unlimited storage space and bandwidth. Alongside offers for free setup and maintenance and upkeep for certain periods of time is also provided in others. The payments for the packages are very often reasonable rates fixed as monthly rates.
While you will also come across free offers on hosting coupons there will also be others offering discounts on their existing rates; these vary from 10% to even a whopping $30 rebate on the price tag. However this is also where you will need to exercise your caution and prudence. Always assess the company name and the veracity of its offer. Ask others who have been in their services and the rate of professionalism or commitment they have towards the offers they make initially. It is possible as has happened many times where vendors have promised with great zeal and sincerity but have failed to live up to the same. It has unnecessary involved their clients in an unhappy alliance with them which they are unable to break because of the completion of payments.
You will also find websites like hostingcoupons.org where hosting coupons are offered for free; here you will find a wide array of offers of discounts and special services for your websites and its management. Also available will be a round the clock helpdesk which will provide all kinds of assistance and guidance to you.
Needless to say that the offers may sound convincing but it will be safer to trust established and well known names in the industry; you can also opt for a thorough research and verification of the company and its offers available through online and other advertising resources. It will enable a clearer picture and help you to make the right decision.
When planning your wedding, there are so many little ways to add personality to your reception. It is especially nice to use seasonal accents to dress the tables. Check out these fun ideas for fall wedding table numbers.
Let's say you are planning a rustic autumn wedding, and your style is all about fall colors, handmade wedding jewelry, and cozy details. A really cute idea for the reception table numbers is to carve them into pumpkins. Light them up like jack o'lanterns to add a warm glow to your tables. The pumpkin numbers would be a great focal point around which to create an entire autumn tablescape. Cluster rust, yellow, and orange mums in low vessels around the pumpkins, then layer in accents like dried seed pods and fall leaves. It is the perfect centerpiece for a rustic fall reception.
The colorful leaves of autumn are another excellent source of inspiration for your wedding table numbers. The simplest idea is to use a leaf instead of a regular piece of paper when you write out the numbers. Metallic paint will work well for writing on the leaves. The leaf can be placed in a tall stand just like a standard table number. You can tie this in with the escort card display very easily. Make small trees out of gold painted branches, and hang leaves with the guests' names and table numbers on them. Loving the leaf idea? Build on it by also using leaves for the place cards. Use a variety of fall colors to create a rich and interesting effect.
For the crafty bride, consider creating your own unique table numbers using fall inspired elements. I once saw very cool numbers made from a mixture of seeds formed into large numerals. They were propped up on very natural autumn tablescapes. If you used birdseed, you could re-purpose your numbers by hanging them outside to feed your feathered friends after the wedding. A wonderful idea for a late fall wedding would be to use wooden beads that look like cranberries to make the numbers. Simply string them on a heavy gauge wire, then form them into the numerals you need. The rich red color will stand out nicely against centerpieces or table linens, making them as practical as they are attractive. A variation on this idea is to use glass beads and colored crystals to create the table numbers for a more formal fall wedding. It would be a nice touch if you plan to wear crystal wedding jewelry.
Another cool table number project for the DIY bride is to use glass candle holders as part of the number display. There are a couple of ways to do this, but both start with basic clear glass cylindrical candle holders. The easiest way is to wrap a pretty patterned paper around the cylinders. Choose something which is translucent enough to let the light from the candle shine through. In the center of the paper, have a band with the table number in either an opaque paper or a totally transparent material so it is easy to read. If you want to try something a bit more involved, you can get a glass etching kit from a craft store. Place a sticker with the numeral on the glass cylinder, then coat the rest of the surface with the etching solution. Wash off the etching solution and peel off the sticker to reveal a frosted glass candle holder with a clear table number. It make a really cool effect and will be sure to impress your guests, even as it adds character to your autumn wedding tables.

Whole grains can help you save money and lose weight
Do you have a tight budget and are having troubles with your weight at the same time? There are many options for you to tackle such concerns. You may have to improve your diet and be wise when choosing foods to eat. A cheaper deal with foods and one that can also help you lose weight will be best for you. Whole grains can be one of the best food items that can boost your weight loss.
What are whole grains?
Whole grains are actually cereal grains that contain cereal germ, endosperm and bran. It means that whole grains are generally unrefined and can still be sprouted. As it relates to weight loss, you actually consume fewer calories when consuming whole grain products rather than when consuming white flours and other carb products.
Whole grains make you feel full for longer due to their bulk capacity. You can also feel full quickly when you are consuming whole grains; just by having a slice of bread, you can keep full for the morning. Usually though, whole grain products are paired with other food items such as spreads, sauces, dairy products and many more.
Taking your main carbohydrates or whole grains can help you in losing weight. They contain a good amount of dietary fiber and it can help you control appetite as well as boost metabolism.
White bread contains more calories and refined sugar, while whole wheat breads contain lesser calories. You may experience a different taste, but you can easily add some nutritious and tasty side dish like white eggs or light mayonnaise. You can also take them as snacks that make you feel full instantly. With whole breads, you stay full for longer time and this is perfect especially when you are at work or when you do not have enough time to prepare a meal. Breads can be great and you can easily pack them on paper bags, eat them as snacks and prepare them like sandwiches.
Oatmeal is great for you to take in daily. You can take them every morning as your full breakfast. Many people love to eat oats for its benefits and its low calories. You may notice that you get to have a better bowel movement when taking oatmeal regularly. They are among the food items that are easily prepared and are quite cheap.
Some people love to eat rice. Brown rice or whole grain rice is best for you. These contain lesser calories and a lot of fiber. You can eat as much as you want without worrying too much on calories.
Whole grain cereals
Another favorite whole grain product is whole wheat cereals. The taste might be quite different and may not be that tasty but you can easily add some style to it by adding milk, yogurt or fruits, or fruit flavored milks. Whole grain cereals contain many free cholesterol components, minerals such as iron, copper, phosphorus, zinc and magnesium.
Moreover, to get the best out of your weight loss efforts, you will have to develop a plan that works. It should contain various whole grains and other healthy foods items.
Scrapbooking has become a very popular hobby, so popular it has also become a very expensive hobby. There are all kinds of stickers, colored papers, scissors, decorations, cut-outs, stamps and more that are available for the scrapbooking junkies with some money. Unfortunately it is becoming very pricey to keep up with all the different scrapbooking supplies and materials.
Scrapbooking can also be a stressful hobby at times because it seems like you are getting ready for social studies lesson plans instead of getting ready to have fun doing something artsy. Pulling things from all different drawers and boxes can make it seem cluttered and messy. How can you get organized while staying within your means? And how can you make a pretty and good looking scrapbook while staying under budget?
Here are some tips on how to keep the scrapbooking hobby while not going over your spending limit:

Live Right, Live Healthy
In American society, there seems to be this idea that you can actually get something for nothing. Gone are the days of hard work to achieve the American dream. Now, our country’s citizens would rather have government handouts than live off their work of their own brow.
The way American’s go about dieting is also a reflection of this “all for nothing” attitude. Think about it. How many different dieting plans and schemes say “You can eat whatever you want and still lose weight”?
Before reading any further, I want you to know I am not a health freak, exercise fanatic, or anti government. I am just an average person who cares about feeling healthy and living my life to the fullest. I believe losing weight the right way, the healthy way can only be done through eating the right things and exercise.
What are you Eating?
I’ve read quite a few different diet books and thought about their theories. Some say don’t eat carbohydrates, others say don’t eat fats, and then you have those that say you should eat one type of fat but not another. With so many different rules, it’s work in itself to keep up. My conclusion—eat in moderation. Too much of anything can be bad for you. Remember that your body gets its nutrients from a variety of different food sources.
The low fat food craze of the eighties and nineties left behind a trail of sugar-filled, food substitutes and packaging labels that take a degree in chemistry to interpret. Removing fat and replacing it with sugars isn’t any better than eating the original. Sugars temporarily satisfy you, but do not stick around long so you feel hungry sooner and end up eating more than you would have otherwise. My general rule of thumb is if I can’t pronounce it, I won’t eat it. This doesn’t mean you have to go all organic and spend a fortune on groceries. There are several options available that don’t even have “organic” on their packaging. Also, be wary of those that do. The laws of what constitutes an organic or all natural product are vague and many products aren’t what they appear to be.
Listen to Your Body
I have a recently married friend who tried a little experiment with her husband. She began by dishing up large portions for dinner. He would eat it and be satisfied. Day by day, without him knowing, she would dish up smaller portions and put the extras in the fridge before serving dinner. As the portions got smaller, he never once left the dinner table hungry. The point I am trying to make is you don’t have to eat a lot to be satisfied. It is eating till we are stuffed full that puts the weight on. Eating the right portion sizes will have a major effect on your waist line without feeling hungry.
Don’t stow away that NordicTrack treadmill just yet! Eating right is only one part of the equation. The other is exercise.
Many people cringe when they hear exercise. However, exercise doesn’t have to be hours each day of strenuous work. For four months I walked 20 minutes to work and 20 minutes home from work and shed pounds without even trying. Work your exercise into your daily life and you’ll see it’s easy and keeps you feeling good.
If you want to go out and buy exercise equipment or a gym membership, just be sure to check out different gym, weight, or treadmill reviews. Determine what your needs are and figure out what would be right for you.
Taking care of your health the right way is not a nothing for something scheme. Put in the time and effort, and you will see long lasting results.

Choosing a wedding dress can seem to be the most daunting process of your life, and it sure is, after all, this is not something you do on a daily basis. Everything has to be perfect on this occasion that comes only once in a lifetime, including the wedding dress. You cannot afford to not have the right wedding dress for whatever reasons, because rest assured, a wrong choice can really spoil your day. Although the process of choosing the ideal wedding dress may seem like a mine-field, rest assured it can be made easier, especially when done several months in advance. Here are a few tips to get you started.
Style – before you start shopping for a wedding dress, you need to know exactly what it is that you are looking for. You have to sit down and decide on the style of wedding dress that you want. This move alone can help you find the perfect gown faster and with less stress. You can get ideas of different styles of weddings by browsing through the internet and in bridal magazines. Of course the style has to complement your body shape so you should put that consideration in mind when going through these images.
Enjoy the search – buying a wedding dress should never be rushed, more so if you are looking for something that will turn heads and make jaws drop. The best thing here is to get your girlfriends involved. Let them help with the search and join you in the shopping excursions, or help you browse online on the different sites that have wedding dresses for sale.
Color – choosing the right colors for a wedding dress is very important, but there are very many factors that would need consideration here. What is your complexion like? What is the theme of the wedding? What is the season? All these will go into determining the most ideal color for your wedding dress.
Give your tailor enough time – if you will not be buying a fitting dress (which is often the case), it will therefore means that your tailor will need enough time to tailor it to your specific size. This becomes all the more important if you would have shopped several months in advance, because there is the possibility of gaining and losing weight in between the months. With the wedding date in mind, you should give your tailor ample time to do all adjustments and alterations that need to be done before the big day arrives.
Cost – just because it is an once-in-a-lifetime occasion doesn’t mean you should part with an arm and a leg for a wedding dress. It is true that a wedding dress will probably be the main focal point of the occasion, but you need not rush into buying something affluently priced. The best course of action would be to take your time and shop around, and you are sure to find the most ideal wedding dress for your budget.
As is therefore evident, choosing your ideal wedding dress calls for identifying your needs and wants, setting down a budget, identifying the wedding theme, and more importantly, a huge investment of time.
Being prepared for any emergency is just a smart choice to make. Keep your emergency supplies in an easily accessible location in your trunk. It might be a good idea to keep some of the smaller items in a waterproof bag to keep out moisture and dirt, extending the life of the items in the bag. Here are five items that everyone needs in the trunk of their car this winter.
Battery Powered Beacon
Found auto parts stores and online, a lighted safety beacon is always a necessity to alert drivers to your presence, especially in inclement weather. Choose a model that has constant burn and flashing options. It is a proven fact that flashing lights attract our attention more effectively than a constantly burning light. The best color option is a blaze or neon orange since this color is not found in nature and is readily visible, even in heavy rain and snow. Be sure to stock extra batteries for the beacon.
Forego the cheap flashlights that are commonly found in emergency kits and purchase a well made LED flashlight. There are many websites that sell quality compact flashlights for under $20 that can be seen from great distances and are equipped with several flash options including an SOS Morse code setting. As with the beacon, be sure to keep a stock of batteries that fit the flashlight.
Army Surplus Blanket
Found on numerous websites and catalogues, an inexpensive wool blend blanket will provide warmth if your are stuck in cold weather. These blankets are often sold in pairs or by the dozen, so purchase and stock enough for as many people that could fit into the car. Surplus military blankets are well made and will retain body heat. It is advisable to store the blankets in a large zip lock bag that has been vacuumed sealed to protect the material from moisture and grime. This will also reduce the amount of space the blankets will take up.
Jumper Cables or Jump Pack/Air Compressor
Everyone should have a set of quality jumper cables in the trunk of their vehicle. These are relatively inexpensive to purchase at an auto parts store. If you can afford it, purchase a jump pack/air compressor unit that can plug into your vehicle's cigarette lighter port. These devices can be used to jump off your vehicle or provide enough compressed air to inflate a tire. It is a good idea to run your car when using the unit to inflate a tire.
Hydraulic Floor Jack
Your vehicle was probably equipped with a small rotary jack to use in the case of a blown tire. This author has found the majority of these jacks to be unsatisfactory at best. Stocking a quality hydraulic jack is simply a good idea. These jacks are safe, effective, they have a greater range of movement, and are much more stable than the jack provided with your vehicle.
Be smart and don't be caught out in the cold unprepared this winter!

We love to make fun of bad tattoos. From misspelled words to horrible portraits, people make some really bad choices when it comes to what they permanently place on their bodies. Celebrities aren't immune to these bad choices either. Here's a look at a list of the worst celebrity tattoos.
Steve-O of "Jackass" fame definitely rakes top prize when it comes the worst celebrity tattoo. The stuntman tattooed a life-size portrait of himself giving two thumbs up along with the caption "Yah dude, I rock!" on his back.
Johnny Depp tattooed "Winona Forever" on his arm after a whirlwind romance with fellow celeb Winona Ryder. But after the couple split, he had the tattoo changed to "Wino Forever" by removing letters from her name.
Pink tattooed the barcode from one of her albums on her neck in honor of the music. The idea was full of meaning, and the numbers include important dates in her life. Unfortunately, from far away it looks like a tattoo artist just scribbled lines on her neck. And since she most typically wears her hair short, it’s something that is always on display. At least she doesn’t have to always stare at it.
Hayden Panettiere tattooed the Italian words "Vivere senza rimipianti" down her left side, which translates to "to live without regrets," or it would if "rimpianti" was spelled correctly. Maybe she should invest in a removal kit from a tattoo supplies shop.
Mike Tyson’s face tattoo has gotten a lot more press lately, thanks to the Hangover 2. One of the characters gets the same one on screen. Turns out, the real artist of Tyson’s tattoo wasn’t keen on the idea of the likeness. Or maybe was keen on the idea of making some extra money with a lawsuit.
Bottom line is Mike Tyson didn't need to tattoo swirls around his left eye for everyone to know he is menacing, but he did anyway. While the tattoo does make him look a lot more intimidating, it also sort of looks a little like a bad Henna tattoo.
Rumer Willis infamously tattooed "be present" down her left side, leaving many to spoof the tattoo and question what she meant. Many blogs have used Photoshop to turn the tattoo into the words "be presentable" when Rumer has sported skimpy tops to show off her ink.
David McDermott tattooed a portrait of Tori Spelling on his arm. But what was meant to be a loving gesture turned into a creepy likeness, as Tori doesn't have any shoulders and looks somewhat possessed in the tattoo. I guess it's the thought that counts?
