Are you fascinated with the idea of being a chance winner? Do you always like to take a chance with your destiny at random prize drawing games and other similar chance games? Well, if these areas hold an appeal for you then, you are certainly a Sweepstakes lover. A promotional tool of marketing campaign, sweepstake also referred to, as sweeps are random prize drawing games that are used by business organization largely to promote the launch of a new product or an idea. Initially organized through postal service, these have with change of times are also made available online.

Now, if you have been wondering about where to find news about such interesting drawing games then, be assured the news of Sweepstakes are available all over. You will find it in newspaper, n television, over the Internet search, and in local grocery stores or any such stores. In some cases, the news of such drawing games is also displayed on billboard advertisement. If prizes are a concern with you, there is nothing to worry about actually. The prizes that are offered through these random drawing games vary from big to small wins. In some cases, the organizations also focus on specific wins like car, a holiday, home renovation, etc.

Before you participate in any such random drawing games organized by different companies, it is essential; for you to remember that participating in such games is not investment bound. You need not buy the product that is being launched or any other products of the organization for participating in these random draws. If you win that is your destiny, nothing drives your win in Sweepstakes. You can either participate in games that are held regularly that is weekly, fortnightly, and daily or can even enroll for the monthly draws.

However, the catch of winning lies in the mantra- the more you play, the more you win. Therefore, it is always wiser to participate in short-term sweeps to increase your odds of winning Sweepstakes.

Top Five Ways to Find Sale Wedding Gowns

Five Ways to Find Sale Wedding Gowns
1. Go for the sample sale gowns: Most wedding boutiques or shops have sample wedding dresses that they use for the brides to try on. Some may be discontinued. These are the gowns you want to pounce on! Don’t be afraid or embarrassed to ask a manager or sales consultant if they have discontinued dresses they want taken off their hands. No need to wait for the actual sample sale! Be aggressive and you just may get lucky. However, look these dresses over carefully, as they may be damaged. If you do find one that you love, but it has a flaw that can be corrected, ask for an even bigger discount!
2. Shop on-line. Simply type in “wedding dress sales” in your search bar, and you are bound to get loads of links to Internet sites that specialize is sale wedding gowns. Searching online for a dress is a great option because lots of top designers sell their overstock items to these online bridal boutiques. These gowns may be overstock or pre-owned items. Ebay and Etsy are also great options. If you decide to go this route, be sure and check the shipping rates, times, and most importantly, the return policy.
3. Check out your local Bridal Outlet: Most cities will have a bridal outlet… and don’t let the term “outlet” turn you off. Most are just like any bridal boutique, complete with consultants, and best of all, tons of dresses to from which choose. Again, these may be overstock or discounted items, and some may even be third-party sales. However, with that said, on average, shopping at a bridal outlet will save you 40% to 70% off retail prices, and most carry designer dresses as well.
4. Ask Family or Friends: Word of mouth is the oldest trick in the book when it comes to finding deals on just about anything, and that includes wedding dresses. Ask friends or family that have been married where they found their dress, and whether during their shopping process they found a particular shop or boutique that had a nice selection of sale wedding gowns. You are certain to get loads of information and great leads that you may have otherwise overlooked.
5. Join a social media wedding site: As with the friends and family, brides are a great resource to find those hidden gem sale gowns. So don’t be shy, find a forum you like (recommended: powerbrides.com) and start chatting. Brides who are planning their weddings are ready and willing to share any information they can. Try and find brides in your area and compare notes. You will get lots of great feedback and possibly find that perfect sale gown in the process!

Designer Dress Revolution of the 1960s

How Fashion has Changed Over the Decades
Prior to the 1960s, Paris was the undisputed center of the fashion world. However, the cultural revolution of the mid-1960s forever changed the way fashion was perceived by the public, and by the industry itself.
The 1960s were about individuality, self-expression, and thinking outside of tradition and convention. In the fashion world, that meant there would never again be a single, prevailing trend. Instead there would be multiple trends coexisting; some complementary, some not. The 1960s also spurred a sea change in the commercial, creative, and political power of youth, which had a profound impact on fashion. The iconic psychedelic color schemes and Bohemian clothing of the 1960s established an independent youth fashion that was uniquely its own; this was vastly different than previous generations, who followed fashions that were a watered down version of what was popular with their elders. Just like sex, drugs, and rock ‘n roll, fashion became an integral expression of youth and personal freedom.
London was often at the forefront of these changes, led by Mary Quant, who made mini-skirts popular. Paris, while still more true to haute couture, also had its share of revolutionary designers including Pierre Cardin and Yves Saint Laurent. But some traditionalists, like Coco Chanel, resisted the revolution and held firm to more classic, conservative designs. To this day, Chanel is perceived as a fashion house for more mature women.
Instead of going to couture houses, 1960s youths gravitated toward small boutiques established by new designers, a trend that has lived on through the new millennium. In addition to offering new designs, these new designers enthusiastically embraced the new synthetic fabrics, primarily because they absorbed dyes exceptionally well and produced the bright, vivid colors that were so highly sought after.
The result of this fashion revolution? Designer dresses of the 1960s exploded onto the scene with a variety of styles, shapes, and colors, made to fit a gamut of individual tastes. Choice, variety and niche looks may be the norm today, but fifty years ago, this sort of panoramic fashion was nothing short of revolutionary.
Ever since many of the iconic women of the 1960 era began wearing designer clothes, we’ve seen a trend that has many of the clothing making a return to the runway. It seems that just about every seven to ten years, fashion from a previous decade has managed to make its way right back into our closets. If we were smart, we would never throw anything away!

Do You Make Money Blogging?

I started blogging almost two years ago. At first, it wasn't a thing that took much of my time. I just loved giveaways and opened this blog to participate even more. But as the time passes by and as I get more and more followers, I like the idea to move this blog forward.

I was thinking what to do. And I decided to use my blog to get extra cash. We are human and we need it to live, huh? This is no harm to anyone, isn't it? :) I started to put ads on my blog and write some paid posts; of course I always wrote my own ideas and thoughts. I even use my twitter and facebook accounts to earn more money. In the beginning, it didn't bring me anything. But slowly I saw that I could! People were reading my posts, clicking on what I shared and day by day, I had many more followers, so the number of people that I could reach increased. Also, my pagerank raised and Alexa rate decreased, so this attracted lots of sponsors. Thanks to this, I was able to do various reviews & host giveaways & write paid posts and so, I could and still can make money blogging! Maybe it's not so much, but I like the idea :) You do your favorite thing - blogging, and benefit from it. What a great thing!

Of course there are advantages and disadvantages of it, but the key is: don't exaggerate! Yes, if you consistently write paid posts, or just cover your blog/website with tons of ads, your followers may be distracted by it. So, you need to balance it.

What can you do to get extra cash through your blog? As I said, via some systems that you can find by searching on internet, you can put ads and text links, write blog posts, do reviews & giveaways, sell items by being affiliate, contact companies directly, and so on. There is no limit to what you can do.

I really want to know what you do to earn money with your blog. And how much does your blog earn to you? Please share your comments with me.
