Erin was terrified. She knew she would have to face Brooke, the most terrible girl in the school…
Meet Cora, who has curly red hair, wears a cardboard outfit and uses her colourful cubby house and special abilities to make a difference in children’s lives. She heals, dances and sings.
Cora is a girl you will admire—she is fun, marvelous and brave. You will see how problems you may face, like accepting a step-family and the loss of a pet, are turned around by Cora’s help.
Then there’s Erin who will touch your heart. Erin displays how she feels and acts when bullied at school—resulting in confused thoughts, regret, hurt and embarassment. Cora uses her powers to help Erin find her wings to deal with Brooke who is bullying her and a real source of stress in Erin’s life.
Cora puts things right! So come along with her and discover why bullying is wrong and what you can do to stop it in its tracks!

About the Author:
I am an Australian author and a 17-year veteran in the field of social work. Moved into action by my niece’s experiences with bullying in school, I wrote ‘The Cardboard Girl: Gives Bullying the Flick’ (released April 2011). My fictional story is aimed for primary school children (7 - 12 years) and I believe it will touch the hearts of readers, as it shows in a creative, visualisation way how kids feel and act when bullied at school and what can be done to stop or minimize it.
