Here's another bad company that don't send the prizes to the winners. It's Hair Extension Deal. Although my giveaway with them ended two months ago, the winner never received her prize. At the beginning, they were very interested in my blog, sent me e-mails, and after the giveaway ended, the communication almost stopped. They asked me how to verify which of their Facebook fans came from my blog; I said that it was impossible as they sponsored multiple giveaways on various blogs. One same person may participate in their giveaways on lots of blogs. I cannot know if this person liked their page through my blog or another. So, their attitude was a little suspicious to me at that stage. Anyway, they wanted the winner's info, I send it to them, and then never heard from them again. I sent them e-mail and wrote on their Facebook page, but they didn't reply. And what's more, today, they wanted to sponsor a giveaway on my blog again! What?! Here's my answer to them:
"I cooperated with you on a giveaway and you didn't send the prize to the winner. So, how can you contact me again before even sending the prize of the first giveaway? There are many bloggers who complain about your company. Sorry, I cannot work with you until I see that the winner gets her prize. It's been two months!"
They still don't answer me. So, I don't recommend you to enter their giveaways, because I guess you won't receive your prize even if you are the winner.
As a giveaway winner I had the same experience. I won a ipad case and they never send me. The blogger who hold the giveaway contacted them many times and still nothing it has been three maybe more months
ReplyDeleteI've won directly from a blogger before who was giving away a gc for $50...never received it. I stopped trying after a couple months. Here's my question though...why even contact a "winner" if you have no intention of fulfilling the prize? Makes no sense to me.
ReplyDeleteI've only had 1 company not fulfill a prize for me. It was some makeup. I wasn't too concerned about it, but they did get likes and such and didn't honor their side of the commitment.
It recently happened to me,less than a month ago.There's this online company 'Ziba Collection'.I won their sponsored giveaway on a blog.The blog owner contacted me and said that the company will send me the details of voucher within a day.After three days i contacted the blog owner...neither got a reply from her nor any email from the company.Whats annoying is not that i didnt get the gift;if it wasnt me it would have been someone else,only that a person spends time entering and they cant even be decent people in the end.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry for this :( It's really annoying when someone doesn't get the deserved prize after making an effort and spending time on entering. Shame on these companies!
