This is a really interesting site for me, especially because I mostly review non fiction books on my own blog. Gee, and I already saw two books for my wishlist too :-)!
ReplyDeleteChecked out the site and they have some really interesting looking books there. :)
ReplyDeleteSome very interesting titles over there. Random Obsessions by Nick Belardes sounds spooky, juicy and yet so much fun from the rave reviews. Fried spiders, odor tester? This book in now on my wishlist.

I love lemons and lavender so I clicked on your link expecting a novel. But no! It is non-fiction and on one of the mainstays of my life (what used to be called the 3 R's). To enter the contest to win the book I went to the link to find something to comment on. Sex? Oh yeah, I would like that book. Jack Kerouac connection - like. Drunken Angel - like. Wordcatcher --> right up my alley. I read William Saffire's columns when I subscribed to a newspaper that carried his work and I have 2 or 3 of his books. One of my favourite authors, Mary Daly, (seems to) make up words and I have to piece together the meaning. I do crossword puzzles, the harder the better. A dictionary is not useful to me unless it has the etymology of the words. I hate the phrase "origin unknown".
ReplyDeleteGreat selection of books on the site. I'd like to read Wordcatcher!
